Kompense Research

Editorial Standards

Kompense Research is the editorial arm of Kompense, the AI-powered competitive intelligence platform. We publish frameworks, teardowns, and playbooks that help sales, product, and founding teams understand their markets and out-maneuver their competitors.

How we research

Every article begins with primary and secondary research: public competitor data, pricing pages, product documentation, market reports, and the patterns our platform surfaces across thousands of tracked companies. We pair AI-assisted analysis with human editorial review to turn raw signal into accurate, practical guidance.

Our editorial standards

  • Accuracy first. Claims are checked against primary sources. Where something is an estimate or an opinion, we label it as such.
  • Practical over promotional. Each article is written to stand on its own — you should get value whether or not you ever use Kompense.
  • Independence. Teardowns and comparisons describe competitors fairly, including where they are strong.
  • Freshness. Competitive intelligence decays quickly, so we monitor and refresh articles as pricing, products, and markets change.

Who is behind Kompense Research

Kompense Research is led by Chetan Sroay, founder of Kompense. Chetan built Kompense to make continuous competitive intelligence accessible to every team — not just enterprises with dedicated analysts. Articles are published under the Kompense Research Team byline and reflect the research and review process described above.
